On The Tour: Mississippi River

This tournament was my favorite out the whole season.

You could pretty much catch fish anywhere but most of mine came from on wing dam. The fish would replenish on it all day as pressure in other places got stronger.

Most of my bigger fish came on a Strike King 1/2 ounce spinner bait and wacky rigged ocho. I rigged it on 65 pound PLINE teflon coated braid because i had to fish the spinnerbait through the rocks.

I also used the new MHX NEPS 86hf. This was perfect for not horseing the soft mouth small mouth. It has an really fast tip and the sensitivity was perfect for the job. I finished 33rd and missed the cut by less than a pound. I can't wait to go back someday.
