On The Tour: Lake Cumberland

First off all, I can think about is that I totally missed the boat. One of my favorite techniques is a spinnerbait and I didn't figure out till after the event that there was a very special spinnerbait bite going on that week.

The best way to attack Cumberland was to find the areas that held all three species of bass and hunker down in those areas. I did part of that exactly as planned. I found the areas holding solid keepers in every class of fish, but my downfall came in being very impatient and moving around too much.

I caught a few keepers off beds and it threw me into a whirlwind looking for more each day. So could have I done something different? Absolutely, but that's why they call it fishing.
