On The Tour: Lake Travis

This is one tournament I wish I could have had a rewind button to do a lot over again.

All the fish were in a deeper pattern with all the cooler weather. I caught a few good ones each day on a 3/4 oz. Strike King Football jig in green pumpkin. I also found many of my deeper spots covering water with a 6XD in a few of the shad patterns. For the 6XD, I used a MHX CB 907 try and get it down just a little deeper. I feel I might have spent too much time with a shakey head in my hand because of the changing weather and I should have just stuck with all my power fishing techniques. However, the fish we super easy to locate with the new Lowrance 3D structure scan. If they would have been half as easy to catch as they were to find it would have been amazing.
